Student Life

At St. Athanasius, students study the Common Core State Standards which provide a consistent and clear standard of learning, including rigorous content and emphasis on knowledge application through skill development. Through strong faculty and leadership, St. Athanasius’ students are excelling across disciplines.

Students attending St. Athanasius are unique in that they also benefit from academic programming that enhances this already informed model. These enhancements provide extensive support to students and teachers to assist them in achieving their academic goals.

  • Comprehensive Student Support

St. Athanasius benefits from drug/alcohol prevention services, a guidance counselor, special education support and speech therapy.

  • Field Trips

Our students’ learning is not confined to the school building. We take advantage of New York City’s dynamic culture. Our students have visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center and the New York Hall of Science.
