Eighth grader, Diana L. went to Poland this summer for World Youth Day with her church.

My group made up of one hundred and eighty people walked eight miles to get where the assembly was being held. When we got there we set up our tents because we were going to camp till the next morning. Listening to the Pope’s homily and attending his mass made the long walk worth it. I also was able to visit five different countries on my way to Poland, including Germany, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Austria. I saw many different attractions in these countries like The Eiffel Tower, Auschwitz Concentration Camp, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the body of St. John Vianney etc. I also made a lot of friends on this trip! This summer was amazing!”
